Business Submission of Events

  • Please email your event listing information to info@gctvguilford.org with a subject heading of "Event Listing for GCTV".

  • Provide your CT Tax Id number.

  • Rates per event submission: $25 per announcement and must be paid in advance of posting. GCTV will send an invoice via Square upon receipt of your Event information.

  • Business events only.

  • As this is a site promoting Guilford events, news and content GCTV reserves the right to decline an event submission request that it feels is not in keeping with its demographic.

General Guidelines for Event Submissions

  • Please submit the following:

    • your organization/company name

    • event name

    • location

    • date/time

    • public contact information

    • website

  • Note: This is the basic information GCTV will post on our Events page.

  • You may submit a brief (no press releases) description of one or two lines about your event. GCTV reserves the right to edit this or not include should it be deemed too lengthy. Please make sure you include your website where full details can be found. GCTV will link to your site.

  • You may also submit a logo for your listing.

  • You may include 1 photo in your listing. 

Scheduling Process

  • It is helpful to us if you send your announcement at least a month before the event date.

  • Events are posted in chronological order of Event date on our website's Community Event page.

  • Preference is not given to a paid business placement over an unpaid community announcement.
